Should Harold Camping be held Criminally liable for damages caused by his failed predictions?

If I yell “Fire!” in a crowded theatre, I can be held criminally liable for any damages or injuries that occur. Why is it that we are not holding Harold Camping and Family Radio to the same standard? I’m all for Free Speech, but this man hurt people and has shown no remorse.
